IMPELLER PLATE GASKET (Pack OF 2 (118-0124-9)

GLM 34520 and Johnson/Evinrude 325537 are compatible with Sierra 18-0124-9 Impeller Housing Gasket. Two gaskets are included in the set. Whenever possible, Sierra products replace or exceed the original equipment part. Elastomeric gaskets seal the channels and route the fluids into alternate channels in a gasket plate heat exchanger. By tightening bolts between the plates, the plate pack is squeezed and built between a frame plate and a pressure plate. When two or more mating surfaces are together, a gasket is a mechanical seal that fills the space between them to prevent leaking from or into the joined objects. Cutting from sheet materials is a typical method of making gaskets.
