HI-PERFORMANCE CONVERSION KIT (18-5288)

The hi-performance conversion kit includes many of the best features as the standard conversion kit and is more intelligent. The high-performance models use a power Microcontroller to modify the dwell based on the coil current level. Variable dwell allows peak energy to be maintained across the whole RPM range. Between 3000 and 5000 RPM, the hi-performance conversion kit systems generate up to four times the power of ordinary ignition systems. The 18-5472 uses ultra-low resistance of 0.6 ohms and 45,000-volt coils, resulting in increased RPM performance.
