CRANKSHAFT SEAL KITS (118-4329)

The front of the engine holds the crankshaft seal. It connects the end of the crankshaft to the timing cover and seals it. These seals are inserted in the front timing cover to keep the crankshaft's end from turning. Crankshaft seals are a simple component that performs a critical function. They prevent oil from escaping outside the crankcase as it is thrown around by the rotating crankshaft.
